Sept 2011 - The Business & Finance Life Sciences International Summit
The 2010 Life Sciences International Summit took place in November 2010 and provided an overview of the many challenges facing the sector and crucially Irelands place within it. Working closely with associate partners Science Foundation Ireland, IDA and Enterprise Ireland its purpose was to map out a distinct route for Ireland and Irish operations in this challenging environment. Oct 2011 - The Business & Finance Us / Ireland Awards
The Business & Finance US / Ireland Awards celebrate the significant economic relationship and contributions made by Irish corporates in the US and US multinationals operating in Ireland. The event provides a unique opportunity to celebrate and recognise the achievements of the best US-Irish business leaders. In 2010, The Business & Finance US / Ireland Awards were held at the NYSE Euronext headquarters on Wall Street, the event attracted more than 300 business leaders representing some of the largest and best performing corporations in the US attended the event. The Business & Finance Awards have been recognising excellence in Irish business for over 35 years and is the longest running and most coveted business awards programme in Ireland. The Business & Finance Business Person of the Year award has celebrated the outstanding achievements of individuals such as Michael Smurfit, Tony Ryan, Peter Sutherland, Tony O’Reilly, Denis O’Brien, Niall FitzGerald, Neville Isdell, Gary McGann and Danuta Gray. Each year the awards are attended by over 600 CEOs and business leaders. The awards are supported by a select group of corporate patrons, which allows for independent status to be maintained and presents the patrons with the opportunity to engage the CEOs of the top 100 companies and the most influential business leaders in our country.
